Dipping fruit in chocolate – is there a better idea? Nicole and Daniela thought about it for a moment and came to the same conclusion: probably not.
What started in their home kitchen as a simple idea quickly became something worth sharing. One bite was all it took to win over family, friends and everyone lucky enough to try it. Sweet, fruity, chocolatey – and impossible to forget. So they kept dipping, tasting and perfecting. Today, Schofrulade is still made with the same passion that started it all: a love for great ingredients, shared moments and the belief that the best things in life are often the simplest. The rest is chocolate history.

The Fruit Experts Since 1964
What started in 1964 with fruit, vegetables and wild berries from Styria has grown into one of Austria’s most trusted family businesses. Today, our products reach customers across Europe, supported by two locations and a team of around 100 passionate people.
But despite all that growth, one thing has never changed: our love for great fruit.
That passion began with our founder and grandfather, Fritz Oswald Sr., whose dedication laid the foundation for everything we do today. We like to think he would be especially proud of Schofrulade – because if there’s one thing better than exceptional fruit, it’s exceptional fruit covered in chocolate.
Fritz Sr. would have loved Schofrulade. We’re quite sure of that.

When you care this much about fruit, quality isn’t a promise – it’s a responsibility. That’s why every step of our process follows the highest international food standards. From sourcing and production to delivery, everything is carefully documented, monitored and fully traceable. It may sound complicated. And honestly, it is. But for us, it’s simply part of doing things the right way. It has been that way since the days of Obst Oswald, and it’s exactly how we continue to work today.
